The End of AIDS
A Youth Encounter to help American young people grasp the real effects of HIV/AIDS in Eastern & Southern Africa.
Designed
for both large and small church groups.
Includes various games that show the impact of the real numbers
of infected and dying.
Then
the numbers are brought home in games that show "How
many minutes would it take for everyone in my home church,
my school, my town to Die?
This encounter is down-loadable from the Internet and comes in a PDF file that will print on any printer. It contains all the instructions and printable materials needed.
To
down-load "The End of AIDS" encounter we are asking that
you register to receive it. You need to send an email
with: Your Name, The Name and Address of your Church,
Association, or Youth Group.
You will receive a return email with a link to the download.
At the request of some teachers we also produce a secular
version
that can be used in most schools without negative reaction.
If you hold an "The End of AIDS" encounter and you find the materials useful and helpful, we are asking you to consider a $5. to $10. donation for the use of the materials. The donation is voluntary but would be helpful.
Why the donation?
It is not generally known but for years we, Jim & Brenda, have personally paid almost all the costs of the computer equipment to process the manuscripts for the IPS web site. For the last 8 years we have personally paid all the Internet Hosting and downloading fees. Over the years these cost have risen to over $5,000. We are now facing the need of buying another computer to replace one we have worn out. We thought that this would be a way churches could help us with our costs and still receive something of value for their young people.
