Many of you write and ask the same questions as someone else so we thought we would create a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Page.

Some questions are Funny. Some are Sad. Some make us Wonder. Some may make You Wonder!

• What is it like being a missionary?
  Some days it is really great. Other days, it not so great. In many ways, it is just like life where you are. Sometimes the work you are doing is going well and you see people beginning to understand how much God has really done for them through Jesus Christ. Other days it is an up-hill battle. The best thing is being there when someone finally gets it and realizes how much God does care about them. When they respond to that love and ask for forgiveness and give their lives to God. Nothing equals that!
  
• Do you miss America?
  Sometimes. What you really miss is not things but people. We haven't seen some of our friends in years.
  What do I miss? - Going fishing with Ryan & Kye. - Eating a Whopper!(mayo, lettuce, ketchup, only!). - Dove Season. - The leaves as they turn colors in the Fall. - Sitting around the table talking with friends.
  What do I miss the most? - My little girl. I just want to take her and hold her for a little while.
  
• Are the dogs the only pets you have?
  Yes. We have had other pets, but they are the only ones now. I do have a fish tank but someone stole the stand it goes on & I haven't been able to set it up since we got back. Paige used to have a real little zoo when she was younger.
  
• How much money do you make?
  That depends on how you look at it. Brenda & I both work in the office so its like we both have jobs and some weeks we work more than others.
  If we both worked an 8 hour day, (we don't, we work about 10 to 12 hours a day)
  And if we worked 5 days a week, (we don't, we work 6 or 7 days a week)
  We get paid $7.66 an hour.
  
• What do you eat?
  Food just like you. And then some foods that you don't eat. We eat spaghetti, soup, barbeque, cheese. We are living in a large town now so we get normal kinds of foods. When we travel we often live and eat with the people so we eat different stuff. Pumpkin leaves stewed in ground peanuts. Fish stew made with minnows(heads, eyes and scales included). White Corn meal cooked like real dry grits. Fish that have been dried in the sun. Snake. Rat. Mopani Worms(fried at best). Termites(fried or smoked). Cat. Dog. Mice. Goat Fat(fried and served over rice). Zebra. Hartebeest. Warthog. It all depends on what you can get. The thing you have to remember is meat is meat no matter what it came from.
  
• What kind of house do you live in?
  Our house is like many of your houses. But it is made of cement blocks. Our roof is made of cement tiles. We have doors, windows, electricity, water. It has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room. One bedroom we use for an office. I'll try and get some pictures taken and make a page for them.
  
• Do you ever have problems with Elephants?
  Not where we live now. But we have had problems with them in the past. One day we were driving to get somewhere for the night and an elephant decided that he owned the road and that we could not pass. He was right. He was about 8 times bigger than my car. So he did own the road. We kept trying to pass and he would stop us and then chase us back up the road a while. (It is good that my car can go faster than an elephant.) After about 45 minutes he moved off the road to eat a tree and I was able to get around him. That really made him mad and he trumpeted and really chased us but we were ok by then. Many years ago, I did see an elephant catch a car once. The person in the car didn't make it.
